Blairstown Rotary and NWRHS Interact Join to Help Fight Hunger in NJ

On Saturday March 7, Blairstown Rotary and the North Warren Interact Club joined hundreds of fellow Rotarians, Interact students and other volunteers at the End Hunger 3.6 event at Drew University.  The event was organized by the Madison Rotary Club with the goal of helping to fight hunger in our communities.

The volunteers packaged over 200,000 meals that will be distributed to many food pantries, soup kitchens, churches, the Salvation Army and other organizations in New Jersey.  Blairstown Rotary brought back 1,260 meals for distribution to our local area food pantries.  We will partner with North Warren-based Local Share to distribute the meals.

The Interact team packaged hundreds of macaroni & cheese meals.

At the end of their shift, the Blairstown group came together for a quick picture before packing the meals into their bus and heading home.
