2026 NWRHS Scholarship Award Program

We are pleased to announce that thanks to the community support of our fundraising efforts, The Rotary Club of Blairstown will provide the following scholarship awards to North Warren Regional High School graduating seniors who exemplify the Rotary motto of “Service above Self” through their volunteer activities and actions. Examples include, but are not limited to, participation in a service club like Interact or Key Club, participating in organized mission trips, volunteering to help others, volunteering through community organizations like the YMCA, Special Olympics, United Way, food bank, scouting, church group, peer mentor programs, or tutoring.

Community Center Entryway Memorial Brick Space

A memorial brick space has been installed in the Community Center front entry area. We are now taking orders for the second group of bricks, which will be installed in the fall. The bricks are laser engraved, are very durable and will be part the center for many years. The brick space is located between the entry walk and wheelchair path, directly in front of the building. It is easily visible to all who are using the Center.

All proceeds from Memorial Brick sales will be used for additional repairs and improvements of the Community Center. There is more work to do!

Community Center Project Update

The Blairstown Rotary Community Center Project exterior work is complete. Thank you to all who supported the project.

This plaque was presented by Blairstown Township and can be seen at the entrance to the Center.

Rotary Is Changing

We are making it easier to fit Rotary into today's busy schedule and are focusing more on special projects, so you can be involved as your time allows.

The main requirement to join Rotary is the desire to get involved and make a difference in our community. We know that today’s work and family schedule take its toll on volunteer time, so we are working hard to make Rotary accessible to all who want to join and contribute.

Why Rotary?

Our club has a 73-year history in our community, and we are very sound financially. While we work locally, we are a proud part of Rotary International, a network of more than 1.2 million members.

We have access to the resources of this worldwide organization, which makes it possible for us to accomplish things beyond our local means.

Our Meetings

If you can spare an hour a month, you have the time to attend our monthly business meeting. Many of our members also enjoy attending our weekly dinner meetings, but these are not a requirement for membership.

Our Projects

We hold and participate in many projects throughout the year. What we can accomplish is only limited by the time, enthusiasm and skills of our members.

We are confident that we can find projects that match your time, skills and abilities. Or maybe you have some ideas of your own, but you need people and resources to help carry them out. That’s what Rotary is all about.
